Jan Edwards

Jan Edwards is a midwestern born singer-songwriter, from Minneapolis, and has lived in Nashville, now Naples, FL. She is known for her genre-bending style including country, jazz, pop, folk and blues. She has always expressed her creative spirit through her songwriting and music. Her songs started getting attention and won 1st place in the country category for the USA Songwriting Competition. That recognition provided an invitation to play a showcase at the renowned Bluebird Café, and at other Nashville iconic venues. Years later, her song “I Will,” was recorded and released by Texas superstar Darrin Morris. The single went #1 on the Texas charts where it remained for 3 weeks. Jan has since released her own music, her first album of original songs in 2014. She released several singles, and two Christmas albums of her original music. Jan’s latest project is a double album called, “Light & Dark,” released fall of 2023 and spring of 2024. Jan has had placements in film, TV and advertising. She is a songwriting chameleon, writing all of her own original music in a fusion style all her own.
